Track Name: The Valley
Lost along the path somewhere, far from what he’s known,
Sea-bound seeker lift your head, to what’s before you.
Step into the world you see, passing through her rise
Let the one whose land you walk, surround you in herself.

I wont know, no I wont know (I’ll never know), just how far her garden grows (I’ll never know), only if she comes down to greet you.
Will you plan to stay a while (here in denial), in this land where water falls (and comfort calls), deep within the valley of her mind.

Stop and listen, look and feel all you’ve reconciled
Let her guide you, take you there, to your new exile… How hollow a heart

I won’t know, no I won’t know (I’ll never know), just how deep there is the snow (how deep the snow), deeper as it slowly surrounds me.
And this cavern that I see (so pleasantly), growing darker as I speak (encompass me), deep within the valley of her mind.
Track Name: Geese on the Lawn
Geese on the lawn, picking up the apples from the trees there on the ground,
Searching for a ripe one, but the right one isn’t there, it isn’t anywhere,
When the gardener’s cleared the branches up above.

Through the door, he staggered ‘cross the floor, then he collapsed in a heap.
Sea-bound seeker what are you looking for, what do you want from me?
And it’s all sane and it’s all well,
But it’s all just the same when you make your own hell

Change the scene, put a few hours in between, and follow her into the bar room.
Midnight dancer, is what they say true? Why does this darkness surround you?
Then the door slams and they’re at it again,
With fear in his eyes and fire in her hands.

Geese on the lawn, picking up the apples from the trees there on the ground,
Searching for a ripe one, but the right one isn’t there, it isn’t anywhere,
When the gardener’s cleared the branches up above.

Clear the room, we’ve got another typhoon, pouring in off of the street.
Does it show? No I never really know, you just want, just want to get me off of my feet.
Then a scene change and the thought fades
And the typhoon turns the night into a daze.

Sea-bound seeker you’ll never know just what you mean to me.

Then the last scene where the branch fell,
And the same dream where you say farewell.

Geese on the lawn, picking up the apples from the trees there on the ground,
Searching for a ripe one, but the right one isn’t there, it isn’t anywhere,
When the gardener’s cleared the branches up above.
Track Name: Autumn Sky
All I see is from my winking eye. All mistrust in Autumn’s evening sky.
Now my heart is on my sleeve with most everything.

Sickness has become more prevalent. Sleepless nights have left your mind spent.
And you’ll hurt me in due time, but how you make me feel alive.

Autumn how the spirits fill your dreams, demons that will split you at the seams.
Now there’s nowhere I need go, so I’ll suffer here, suffer for now.

The road I care to go leads far away from here, high from darkened trees and far above.
But I’m too sick to fly so I’ll lie here in your glow.

Darkness has come, spread ‘cross the whole town, spawned from your gaze, your setting sun.
But I can’t seem to find my own way back home.

I’ve seen my fair share of broken hearts, each new season brings another start.
And I’ll leave it all behind in the morning air of Autumn’s Sky.
Track Name: Coyote Song
In the desert there’s a coyote, and she howls when nights are lonely.
On the hillside there are plenty of rabbits, a problem for our new friend’s bad habits.

What can I even say? This land is so desolate.
How can I even stay, when feeling so complacent?

(In the desert)
There are lizards climbing in the trees, there’s a multitude of stormy seas,
And I try, and I try, and I try and I try, and I try, and I try, and I try and I try.

There’s a rock that’s balanced on its tip, there’s a sun that draws a line from it.
And I try, and I try, and I try and I try, and I try, and I try, and I try and I try again.

What can I even say? This world is so desolate.
How can I even stay, shrouded in ambivalence?

What can I even say? This world is so desolate.
How can I even stay, mired in benevolence.
Track Name: Don't Feed the Birds
There are no lessons to be learned from my mistakes
I’ve heard it isn’t worth my time
From all the others waiting patiently for me to see
That I was standing out of line

For common sense would let us think that we’re all different
That our time will come around
But with those two feet planted firmly on the surface
You might as well be in the ground

So disconnected
Don’t feed the birds

So we wrote about our travels to the moon
When you said it was impossible to do
Now it’s clear to me that we learned as we flew
When your eyes are closed the sky is almost never blue

Time and time again
Day after day you tried
Daydreamer and a liar
But there’s nothing to be gained
When you’ve got nothing on the line
Too busy hanging from a wire

You’re stuck
Waiting for someone to hold your hand
say you’re everything and more
But honestly, you gotta be pushed onto your feet
This is your life. Unlock the door.

Please don’t include me in this unrelenting lie
Cross my heart and dot my i’s and join me when I cry
So disconnected
Don’t feed the birds
