All of the Greats

You're a visitor on this plane
Hoping to keep yourself intact
If you completely forget the desert
You'll recall it when you come back
Will I see you there?
Breathe the tranquil air
Flowing through your hair
Will I see you there?
It's natural to feel the excess of mystery
The shame of your history
While walking this place
There's no reason to stick around here
All of the Greats have gone to space
Will I see you there?
Breathe the tranquil air
Flowing through your hair
Will I see you there?

Seventh Seed

The van finally made it through grants pass,
The road was shrouded in pines
We stopped for an eve in the tall grass
Where the seventh seed will undue your mind
The birds and the bees were sure to arrive
The Night air glowed beneath starlight
We wandered the fields in the meantime
And danced in the cool autumn air
We drank sweet wine by the fireside
The seventh seed continued to share
I’ll sip with you
If you smoke with me
The sheep’s in the pasture
Full moon in the trees
Ba-Ba
The star streaked peacenicks persisted
Though dawn was soon to arrive
She took my hand and insisted
All that I’d need I would find
This wide-eyed rest
Won’t help any one
Our minds still race
‘Til morning has come

Dandelion Seeds
03:50
|

Perched beside her window she runs her fingers through her purple hair
Azalea glances past the sun soaked garden through the stagnant air
I’ve seen her three weeks now there staring at some distant fleeting thought
Allowing hours to turn to days in an August oh so hot
You’re losing your mind (I just want to say)
To feel so unkind (Don’t throw it away)
You’re bound to unwind (If only today)
As dandelion seeds float off on the breeze and they’re all long gone
Taking a ride to find a new place to be
The feeling to yearn as the sunflower turns towards the golden sky
Take in the light and find what it is you’ve earned
As her inner demons swell Azalea contemplates whats dear
But if it’s hell and back for her at least she knows this place is near
At summer’s end (Remember a time)
These thoughts fill your head (Deep in your mind)
The Garden is dead (Leave it behind)
As dandelion seeds float off on the breeze and they’re all long gone
Taking a ride to find a new place to be
The feeling to yearn as the sunflower turns towards the golden sky
Take in the light and find what it is you’ve earned

Never Known
06:06
|

It’s the start of our day look at the sun going down
Let us show you the way to get your feet off the ground
We can stay out and play ’til the stars turn to dust
Dancing the night away as our memories turn to rust
Don’t be shy release that monster inside
A piece of mind you wish to achieve
Your goals let go and breath
It’s the start of our day look at the sun going down
Let us show you the way to get your feet off the ground
The faces they ripple by softly flowing feeling fine feels so free
Let us show you the way take it in let it out now
Wont you take my hands in your own turn me to stone
Show me the world you call your own
Wont you give me something I can take to crack the ceiling
Wont you show me a world I’ve never known
Taste the air on your tongue
Feel the blanket grass on our feet dipping down
We are what we’ve become under a campfire constellation
Don’t be shy release that monster inside
A piece of mind you wish to achieve
Your goals let go reprieve
Wont you take my hands in your own turn me to stone
Show me the world you call your own
Wont you give me something I can take to crack the ceiling
Wont you show me a world I’ve never known
